Rashad Whack McNamara 18pts
Whack & Zanna Tough To Handle
McNamara defeated Springbrook by a score of 50-40 last night at the Rock Summer League. The tandem of Talib Zanna  and Rashad Whack both rising seniors were too much for the Blue Devils as they combined for 35 of the Mustangs 50 points. Talib Zanna a 6'9" C was phenomenal in the first half scoring 12 points and grabbing 5 boards while Rashad Whack a 6'2" SG picked up the slack in the second half scoring at will. Whack who's list of college choices at this time includes George Mason , VCU , Richmond , Deleware and JMU is an aggressive guard with the ability to slash and shoot the outside shot. "It's great having Talib healthy this year" noted Whack , " My job is to be a leader on the floor and provide points for my team". That he did , Rashad Whack led all scorers with 18 points in the victory.

Holley & Old Mill Hold Off Roosevelt

6'0" PG Mike Holley from the class of 2010 scored 13 points in the first half to push Old Mill ahead against Eleanor Roosevelt 44-23. Although Eleanor Roosevelt led by Lasan Kormah would cut the deficit down to three , that was also as close as they would get. Holley knocked down a pair of crucial free throws to give Old Mill a 60-55 win over the Raiders. Mike Holley finished the game with 17 points. 6'4" SG Lasan Kormah of Eleanor Roosevelt was the most impressive player in the game scoring 22 points in the loss. Lasan who is being recruited by George Washington , Robert Morris , VCU and George Mason noted that " We were without three of our key players and we still almost won the game" . Lasan Kormah's stock is on the rise.
