The St. Frances Panthers defeated the Towson Catholic Owls 49-43 last night at the St. Frances Fall League as the second week came to a close.

Terrell Vinson , a 6'7" Wing who recently transferred from Montrose Christian in Rockville , MD may be the piece that the Panthers needed. Vinson , a Top 75 national prospect brings much needed leadership and experience to the very young and talented team from Baltimore , MD. Georgetown University scouts were in the building who watched Vinson score 10pts and grab 5rebs. 

St. Frances held Towson Catholic to just 10pts at the half and held a comfortable lead until mid-way through the final period. Senior guard Devin Spence knocked a couple of perimeter shots helping the Owls know things up at 39 all.

The biggest play of the night came from junior guard Wayne "Lights Out" Sparrow who knocked down a big three ball , giving St. Frances the lead 42-39 with 16 seconds remaining. Sparrow , a 6'3" pure shooter finished with a game high 11pts.
