"He is great to have as a teammate" added some of the players from the DC Blue Devils 17 & Under AAU Traveling Basketball team. We couldn't agree more , this kid is emerging on the national scene after a great showing at the DC Assault Take Your Best Shot Tournament. He played against Terrell Vinson and Isaiah Armwood , two tremendously talented players from Montrose Christian School , yet no one could seem to stop Yarou who scored 19pts and had 5blks.

He played against Wally Judge and the DC Assault 17 Gold a team whom also has tremendous talent and considered by many amongst the elite nationwide , and scored 14pts all in the first half before the refs stopped the game early in the second half.

At times Yarou was in the zone blocking out everything and focusing on just playing basketball. This humble kid is 6'9" 245lbs and is thought to have a couple more inches still left to grow. He is very strong down low , and also has the ability to step out and knock down jump shots. He doesn't have a very flashy game but is tremendous in the post and just get's it done.

"The class of 2009 has their hands full with "Mouph" nicknamed by his teammates. He doesn't speak much English but that's OK , his game speaks loud and clear.
