With nearly six weeks of high school basketball in the books , capitolhoops.com traveled to Montrose Christian last night , as the school rich in basketball tradition hosted KIMA Academy.

The Mustangs led by head coach Stu Vetter (10th year) came into tonight's matchup regarded as the #11 rated team in the nation according to espn , and #1 in the DMV area (capitolhoops.com) , and the Green and White surely would not dissapoint.

Comcast Sports Net of Philadelphia , PA was in the building checking out the two 2009 recruits headed to the Wildcats of Villanova next season , Isaiah Armwood and Mouphtarou Yarou.

Senior "Mouph" (nickname) Yarou would not disappoint. The 6'10 power forward dominated the paint scoring a game high 28pts , 10rebs and recording 3blks , as the Mustangs won easily 64-47 last night in Rockville , Md.

Referees stopped the game midway through the 3rd quarter for 30 minutes due to a leak in the ceiling structure , but nothing could stop Montrose' motor from running. Isaiah Armwood added 9pts and junior Terrence Ross chipped in with 8pts in the win.
