The Georgetown Prep faithful showed up , as nearly 2,000 spectators observed the Little Hoyas handle conference rival #19 Landon 69-53.  #16 Georgetown wins their 15th game , but most importantly the first of two battles against IAC division leaders.

 Georgetown's junior stud Markel Starks came out hot , scoring 17pts in the first half putting his team by 23 points , a margin that Landon would not be able to climb back against , although they would cut the lead to 43-30 at halftime.

Despite the big time play in the first half , Georgetown Prep would be without their star player in the 2nd , when Starks awkward fall sidelined the Georgetown commit with a bag of ice.

It would be with 3:16 remaining in the 3rd quarter that the Little Hoyas would face the task ahead without their floor leader who would not return. ( Starks will have an X-ray tomorrow on his left knee )

However the Blue and White took care of business as senior guard Robert Olson (18pts) carried his team to the finish line. Olsen scored a tough layup in traffic and on the very next offensive set , he would find teammate sophomore Nat Eggleston who's 15 foot jumps hot put them up 60-44 with less than five minutes remaining in the game. Georgetown Prep with the win (15-3) wins their 10th straight game while snapping Landon's(13-4) five game streak.
