Wally Judge Class of 2009 Game MVP |
I-95
Elite Challenge 2009 Game In the first ever I-95 Elite Challenge ( DC vs Baltimore All Star Games ) the best of the best represented the beltway and was an absolute pleasure to witness such talented kids. Wally Judge committed to Kansas State took home game MVP honors scoring 17pts for the DC All Stars who defeated the Baltimore All Stars 68-61 at St. Frances Academy. Judge was the most athletic player in the game and will be a pro basketball player in the next couple of years. Isaiah Armwood representing his hometown Baltimore scored the game's first 4 points but injured his knee early in the first half. Armwood unable to apply pressure on his knee , was later taken to a local hospital. Several other players showcased their talent , Jamal Olasewere (18pts) , Naji Hibbert (16pts) , Devon Saddler (11pts). The DC all stars led throughout the entire contest with good guard play from Chaun Duffy and Stuart Clarke who controlled the pace of the game. A big thanks to Dwayne Wise for coordinating the event. |

Darryl Tranham Class of 2010 Game MVP |
Class of
2010 Game Darryl Tranham and the DC All Stars took down the Baltimore Elite 89-95 despite a huge effort from Dante Holmes who scored a game high 28pts. When it was all said and one Darryl Tranham (26pts) led his team to victory while recording game MVP honors as well. Kansas State , Xavier , Miami , Florida , Florida St. , Umass and Charlotte top the list of schools recruiting the 5'8" PG in Tranham. The DC All Stars got some much needed help from Victor Oladipo and Brendan McFall in the win. Baltimore. John Graham and Jimmy Hamilton looked good for the Baltimore 2010 team. |

Kevin Smith Class of 2011 Game MVP |
Kevin Smith Show Class of 2011 Kevin Smith and the Baltimore Elite got their first and only win of the night 100-96 over the DC All Stars. Smith banked in a three pointer at the end of regulation that sent the game into overtime and continued his domination performance finishing with 32pts. It was clear that Kevin Smith won the first showdown between him and Chris Martin (15pts) who checked each other frequently throughout the night. Chris Martin and the DC All Stars were up by as many as 15pts mid way through the second half before things started to slip away. Bruce Little led the DC All Stars with 22pts and has clearly made a name for himself Jordan Goodman looked good as well for the District All Stars. R.J. Williams and Cameron Woodyard combined for 22 points in the win for Baltimore Elite. |

Marvel Redferran Class Of 2012 Game MVP |
Class of 2012 Rising Freshman Marvel Redferran and the DC All Stars defeated the Baltimore Elite 68-61. Redferran who is set to play high school hoops with Archbishop Carroll came up with steal after steal towards the end of the game and finished with a team high 11pts. Lamont Baldwin and Jordan Washington also provided some solid play for the rising freshman squad from the District of Columbia. Charles Tapper scored a game high 13pts for the Baltimore Elite in the loss. John Crowder and Akil Carr also chipped in for the Baltimore squad. |
