Why The Best Of The DMV Top 100 Series?
As the leader in prep basketball scouting for the DC , MD and VA regions , capitolhoops.com is making it possible for prospects in the surrounding regions to showcase their skills in either the High School Top 100 or the Junior Top 100 camps this Fall.

The DMV area is so talented that Capitol Hoops will extend an opportunity for prospective student athletes to be discovered , which also gives scout and camp director Tim Chialastri an opportunity to evaluate athletes on a personal basis before the 2009-2010 High School season begins. Athletes will have a chance to make a name for themselves in the basketball world , gain college exposure and possibly earn a spot in the class rankings while learning the fundamentals necessary for the next level.

Competing For A Scholarship Is Harder Than Ever

Chris Palmer of Espn.com has recently published an article entitled What's the hoops hotbed of the US right now? Chicago? No. LA? Nope. NYC? Sorry. Welcome to Prince George's County, MD. Whether the article is long overdue is irrelevant at this point , what matters is that the DC metro and Baltimore area has not gone under appreciated , over or underrated , the fact of the matter is that we are now viewed for what we are. Capitol Hill move over and make room for the Hoops Capital of the world , a city passionate about the game of basketball that has produced six NBA Lottery Draft Picks (Top 10 selections) in the last six years.

Although Prince George's County , MD is nationally recognized as the hoops hotbed of the world , it is virtually impossible for colleges to scout every potential recruit especially those who attend smaller high schools or play with less established Youth / AAU programs.  But the fact of the matter is that colleges are looking to recruit , and that's where the Unsigned Seniors Camp steps in an provides you with the opportunity to showcase your basketball skills to colleges that are looking to add to their rosters.

There was no shortage of talent then , and there wont be any in the future. Similar to the way that Nike produces basketball shoes , is the way that the DMV area molds and produces it's basketball players. Nearby resident have known this for years , now the world will know. So get recruited!
