Andrew Fitzgerald 6'8" PF 2009

 Andrew Fitzgerald , a top 100 recruit in the Class of 2009 committed today to the Oklahoma Sooners. Fitzgerald a Baltimore local who garnished his AAU exposure with Team Melo now (Baltimore Nike Elite) playing alongside Josh Selby and Naji Hibbert during the summer. The 6'8" power forward spent last season at Owings Mills HS before transferring recently to Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro , NH for his senior year. While at Owings Mills HS in Baltimore , MD Andrew averaged a team high 21 point and 9 rebounds per contest.

Oklahoma has already gotten commitments from standout Tommy Mason-Griffin and Steven Pledger who will be joining Fitzgerald in the fall Of 2009. Oklahoma under head Coach Jeff Capel finished the 2007-2008 season with an overall record of 22-11 in the tough Big XII conference .

Fitzgerald has improved tremendously over the course of the past year earning himself a Top 100 rating nationally in the Class Of 2009.  Andrew's hustle up and down the floor and tenacity on the glass , brought upon a newfound interest in his services from a variety of the Nation's high quality college basketball programs. Fitzgerald chose OU over the likes of Pittsburgh , Marquette , UMD , Seton Hall and Kentucky.
